What Jesus was saying is this:  Jesus said about people in Noah’s day. They were eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away. Matthew 24:38, 39

What was wrong was their preoccupation with everything else to the exclusion of listening to God when he spoke through his servant Noah, a preacher of righteousness. Because they did not listen, when the Flood came it swept them all away into destruction.

Many of those who died in the Flood no doubt considered themselves NICE PEOPLE, not being involved in the violence that filled society in those days. (But just being nice did not save them.)

By their apathy they condoned the evil of their day.

The times Jesus spoke of may not be far off, but they are not here yet. Before the Flood the Earth looked like a Hollywood horror Movie. The Nephilim were the ruling race. They were hybrids, sometimes giant's, sometimes half human half monster. The Bible says this, read it carefully. Human women were raped as a matter of routine by the ruling Nephilim. This produced a genetically corrupted human race. Virtually the entire population of Earth were DNA corrupted in some degree. There was only one solution, to wipe out the entire population of Earth. Note the comment about Noah, he was'pure in his generations' this meant his DNA had not been effected by the rape culture on Earth. That was why he was saved. Some people with corrupted DNA did survive the Flood. But they were banned from being near holy places. Note the law 'no bastard shall stand in the temple for 10 generations.'  This did not refer to illigitemate children, if it did there would be no people at all in the temple. It referred to people with corrupted DNA. Apparently it took 10 generations to weaken the Nephilim effects.

So all this considered you don't expect the day's of Noah right now. But Jesus can appear any time. So be prepared.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father. For just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son of man will be.”—Matthew 24:36-39.

“In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power.”—2 Timothy 3:1-5.

God “will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”—Revelation 21:4.

Though the Scriptures give us but a glimpse of what lies ahead, they assure us that humanity is not doomed. The future will be glorious beyond our ability to comprehend. You can count on that, confident that what Jehovah God has promised, he is also able to do.

    2 Timothy 3:1-7

But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 From among these arise men who slyly work their way into households and captivate weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.

The days of Noah will never return.  God put the bow in the sky to remind Himself that He will never again destroy the world BY FLOOD.  The Day of the Lord - which will be when Jesus returns in judgment - that day will come as a thief in the night in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise and the element will melt with fervent heat - both the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up.  Etc (2 Peter 3:10 onward)

The earth has to go through what Jesus and us have to. It was baptized by the flood and will receive the equivalent of getting the gift of the Holy Ghost when the earth is baptized by fire when the Savior comes again. All Telestial Kingdom people on the earth will be burned by his glory. LDS.org

God said he would never destroy the earth with a global flood. We can trust that promise. Jesus said just like the days of Noah, then he describes the days of Noah what people were doing, just everyday living, the point is they took no note and it cost them their lives. We are living in the last days, but people are not taking note of that and it will cost them their lives. Gods will for Noah was to build an Ark with precise details. Gods will for us is to choose to worship him in the way he approves of so we can be saved when he brings and end to the world of people living in the last days. But unfortunately the majority of people will take no note, and not choose to do God’s will.

This has nothing to do with the need for an ark. The same passage mentions the days of Lot.

In both times there was only "one righteous person" and it was accounted to them, not earned by them. I suggest this because both got drunk and one was raped by his son, while the other was used by his daughters.

Using the six day model of creation, this period of time can be said to be day six. So it is the last day before the day of rest which prefigures the resurrection.

As for the horsemen of the apocalypse- those were all released by the time of Jacob if not before then. The question of when depends on when the first famine happened. The first mention in the Bible is when Joseph interprets Pharaohs dream.

Yes, we know that already. The 4 Horseman

of the Apocalypse were released in 2008 (obviously).

HUMANITY IS COMING OF AGE IN THE GALAXY.

    We are developing not just

    intelligent, but LIVING-computers.

    Soon, we'll have free-electricity, star-trek replicators and

develop quantum-energy which will make such a difference.

And joining all the aliens in space like (the Federation

in star trek) is not out of the question, later this century.

By 2090, we'll have stargates and begin building

(or at least have plans to build) cities in Hollow-Earth

    ...the final-frontier.

    ________

To address your specific question. I believe the first

Noah's Ark was a fleet of space-ships who escaped

the Great Flood (the sinking of Atlantis.) It's captain

was named Adama. Most survivors relocated to cities

in Hollow-Earth or they went back home to some other planet.
