Aren't there more Covid cases because finally there's more testing?

Is this yet another fear mongering shut-down just delaying the inevitable?

Actually, the increased testing is finding more positives as expected, BUT these individuals have it and would be asymptomatic and passing it along to others if not tested.

Yes, if testing will increase more then there will be some control in covid cases

There has been more testing for some months now.  Yet the percentage of those who were tested, who tested positive, had been lower.

Now we still have more testing, but the percentage who test positive is increasing.  This was expected because weather is cooler and people are spending more time indoors, making it easier for the virus to spread.

What inevitable do you think we are delaying?  The vaccines are coming pretty soon, and will most likely be widespread by Spring or Summer.  Then the number of cases will become very small and not a problem.

    No.

Testing doesn't cause corona.  It lets us know about it.  If we didn't test the covid cases would still be there, we just wouldn't know about it.

There are more covid cases because you stupid Americans spread it. It has nothing to do with more testing. Why not test no one then no one has it. right? Stupid Americans and their freedoms to gather and go to church. My wife is a nurse who works on a covid ward. My wife puts herself in danger every day because stupid people can't accept that this is a deadly virus.

There is more testing because there are more cases of Covid-19.  China has only had 92,984 cases total, Japan 150,976, US more than 13,500,000.

Now explain how the increasing death rate is also a consequence of more testing.

No doubt that is a factor.
