Is constantly re arranging furniture some type of ocd?

My sister brought it to my attention that the amount of times I rearrange my home is not normal. I have to change my entire house completled around at least once a week. I have two young children and HATE feeling like there are crumbs everywhere so I feel like I need to feel clean constantly. But I've always been this way. When I was younger I'd always move my room around. Is this some type of ocd??

Does sound like some highly typical symptom of OCD zxjqkb

    It might be.

My own mother used to move the living room furniture around just to "change the traffic pattern" on the rug to make it last longer.

Me?  I only move it when I clean under it and then put it back in place.

  • not being an ''expert'' i wouldn't know, i advise you to talk to an expert about it.

Yeah, probably.  But if it's not bothering you, why worry about it?  If your sister has a problem with it - that's HER problem, not yours.
