Who are the best Tv Show Dads?

When you say "best," do you mean in terms of being "good Dads," or "best" in terms of being the ones I liked the best?  Because there's a big difference.

If you mean "good Dad," I would go along with Uncle Phil and Martin Crane.  I would add Howard Cunningham (Happy Days), Ben Cartwright (Bonanza), Steve Douglas (My Three Sons) and Andy Taylor (Andy Griffith Show).

On the other hand, my FAVORITES probably wouldn't win any Dad of the Year Awards.....

Al Bundy (Married with Children)

Frank Costanza (Seinfeld)

Phil Dunphy (Modern Family)

Frank Barone (Everybody Loves Raymond)

Buddy Ryan (John Astin in Night Court, who may, or may not have been Judge Harry Stone's father.)

I mean, how can you not love a Dad who does this?
