Where to begin?
So I want to work in video editing as the field has always interested me but I never did anything towards it. I want to know what software should I download for beginners to learn video editing and what steps should I take for now. Please help save my life. Thank you

the best bet, if you are serious, is to use either Adobe Premiere, or Lightworks. both are used by Hollywood and pro studios.
there are also many how-to videos on YouTube that will teach you. i recommend watching them BEFORE you decide which to choose.
