In L.A. Prosecutor will release thousands of inmates soon, what will result?

Gascon says Los Angeles failed tough-on-crime approach,  His no cash bail policy called "catch & release" will be implemented immediately and he'll be re-evaluating over 20,000 cases and will release drug addicts, mental illness criminals, indigent, homeless, etc.

Murders in Los Angeles increased by 20% in 2020.  Do you think crime will increase now that L.A. City Council has defunded Police by $150 million?

What a mess!  Crime will seriously increase and from what I am hearing, people and businesses are fleeing LA.  That's very sad.

Duh. The #RecallGascon movement is already afoot but can't file for six months (state law). It's not just a DA who won't charge anybody. It's also that we've emptied our prisons out of COVID-19 concerns and now have thousands of violent felons roaming the streets.

It depends 100% on how evaluates the prisoners - 100%.  NY is going to need to do something similar. The jails are full.
