    Aircraft is the most economical solution.

    @Anonymous: Fairbanks? Wait until February when the ocean freezes over and then you can walk it halfway before diving into the water for the great swim.

    I live in Fairbanks, so how I go is I cross-country ski down to Juneau and then swim due south from there.

    Book a flight. Maybe take a cruise. If you're very adventurous you can swim!
