Should nanny’s give Xmas gifts to the parents? ?
So I’m a nanny and was wondering if I should give an Xmas gift to the parents of the kids I watch. I’ve done it in the past with different parents and it stresses me out cause I never know what to get but I’ve heard ppl say you don’t give your employer an Xmas gift. What has other nanny’s done for Xmas gifts for the parents. I always just stuck with a framed picture of the kids that I took and then a restaurant gift card.

I think hand-made gifts are especially nice.
Do you have a craft hobby? Maybe knit or crochet them matching neck scarfs?
Or, if you don't like to make stuff, maybe look on Etsy for hand-made gifts - I've seen a ton of cute ideas most anyone would appreciate.

I am not a nanny but I think something would be nice. I would buy a food hamper thing, or big box of chocolates, as a gesture.
A gift card is expensive, so I would not get that. It is the thought that counts.
