Is Yahoo Answers still big like it was 10 years ago, or has the userbase gone down tremendously?

I found racist comments on every Yahoo story back in the day, almost exclusively  directed at blacks. 

The original userbase is long dead, or at least 99.9% dead and the community has become a den of trolls.

we are not counting but quite a few ppl do come here.

no yahoo answers seems to be getting worse by the day. some have many accounts and use them on the same answer, someone on here thinks that they know everything and not one person can know the answer to all question. then their is one person that loves to insult others on here. 

Nope.  But a few of us old timers are still around.  

It's MUCH less active than it was at it's height.

Remember, YA is for information seeking questions (the answers to which, may help others). Whether YA is as active as it was years ago or not, isn't useful information. All question askers need is 1 user who can provide them with a correct/useful answer, regardless of how active the site is as a whole.

I remember being on it 10 years ago for a quick bit and I got some better answers... but people come and go on this site.. and now people are going to quora to get better answers 

No no where close to where it was 10 years ago 

A lot Less people are using this Site now its pretty Dead Around here 

Thats why I use this and Quora as well for Entertainment to Fulfill the time

In the Beginning,  2006, 2007......there was a thing called Knowledge Partners here.   Actual, real, well known intelligent people answering questions. 

By the end of 2007...or start of 2008.....the site started becoming an obvious TROLL playground, and most of the serious, professional people  closed their accounts and left. 

by 2009........the site was not much more than a troll playground.....and gets worse every year. 

The site today is NOTHING like it was back then. 

Not as big as my diсk, but it's getting there.
