I'm sure you will be leaving when you turn eighteen; but can you wait until then? Would your mother allow you to go and stay with your friend between now and then? It doesn't hurt to ask, and be sure to make sure it would be okay with your friend's parents, beforehand.

You didn't describe what's going on. If you had done so, perhaps we could have also given you some coping suggestions while you remain at home. Where is your father in all this?

    Good wishes,

p.s. Emancipation is a legal process and involves the court, judges, proving you are self supporting and capable of being independent, and more. Given that you are talking only about seven months, I wouldn't recommend trying this. It might take all of those months to achieve it, even if you could, but you did not specify that you can earn your own living, etc.

At 18 you can leave and she cannot stop you. But If she wants to be vindictive, she can stop you from taking your things. So sneak out the most important things before the move.

You may leave, nothing she can do.

you could try getting emancipated and if youre getting abused talk to cps and maybe they might let you stay with your best friend

you're legally allowed to leave. I am 20 and i missed so many opportunities to move out, but i have another chance to over summer. Take the chance while you have it. I'm not sure what your situation is, but if you're dying to move out like i am don't let anything hold you back!

When you turn 18 you can in fact leave your mom to go live somewhere else. If she doesn't let you leave you can then get the law involved
