    You won't get a good result in the microwave. Even the "mug cakes" end up dry inside but gooey on the top.

    Wouldn't even try it since microwave cook from the Inside and conventional ovens cook from the outside.

    You need a plastic pan that’s microwave safe and pretty much any cake recipe will probably work you just need to be real careful on how long you microwave it. I use a brownie recipe (not a mix and ingredients reduced for a one egg mix) and it only takes about 3 minutes in the microwave. Quick and good brownies anytime I want them.
