How to turn off emergency alerts on Samsung A71 5G?
Factory unlocked, but not rooted. I've googled and read several different ways to do this on Samsung phones or even the A71 5G in particular, but none of the suggestions work. Where I live, the phone is alerting about every 5 minutes, 24/7, and it's ruining my sleep. Plus, the alerts are in a foreign language. So even if they weren't waking me up, they'd be useless to me. I found the setting I want (I believe) but even with dev mode enabled, the switch is grayed out / can't be toggled. See picture.

When I go there, I can see the setting. But I can't toggle it. I am not allowed to turn it off.

Open up Messages
Tap the three dots at the upper right
Tap settings
Tap Emergency Alert Settings
