evening out the audio sound.?
I had been ripping dvds to the computer putting them all in MP4 for my media player on my TV.
THe sound in the audio in uneven.
Example. I can be watching the video on the tv and the sound can be even, no up and down on the volume but suddenly a high spike in the sound. So, i'm looking for a software that will even the sound waves in the MP4 files

The effect you want is called peak normalisation. Several audio packages offer this including audacity.
