He was popular years ago. I remember we used to watch The Donny and MArie show years ago. They would sing "i'm a little bit country, and I'm a little bit rock and roll".

In their heyday they were known as squeaky clean and it wasn't "cool" to like the Osmonds, but I've never heard anyone say they hated them.

"Hate"? That's a pretty strong word. I don't know anybody who "hates" Donny Osmond. In fact, I know a lot of people who like him. If he weren't well-liked, he wouldn't have sold out Vegas shows constantly for the past decade and he wouldn't have been invited onto and won The Masked Singer just a couple seasons ago.
