Can I Still get an A in my class? ?

So I have an 87% in the class. And I’m waiting for him to add participation points which is worth 10 points...will this be enough to get me to a 90%? Lol 

I’m sorry if this is a stupid question but I am really horrible math

The class is out of 100 total points

    We can't add percentages to points.

    Do you have 87 *points* in your class? Out of every assignment, exam, etc, you had only three points subtracted? If so, that plus 10 participation points is 97 points. But I doubt that is your situation, since anyone who passed first grade could see that 87 plus 10 is 97. 

    If you have 87%, is that 87% out of full 100 points, or 87% out of the 90 points you have had the potential to earn so far?
