Google Chrome?

I just got a laptop with windows 10. I downloaded Google chrome. In windows 7 you can go to "new tap" and put shortcuts of places you go to often. How can I do this on my laptop? I have done searches but found no help. They only told me how to put shortcuts on desktops which I do not want. Does anyone know how to do this??

    I have no trouble with putting links into tabs on either my Windows 7 or Windows 10 using Chrome. As for deleting Cortana, just don't use it as your default browser. I never tried to delete it but I think it might mess up your OS if you do as it is built into it.
