Morning after pill help?

Its been a week now since I got the morning after pill but im due my period now, im worried it won't come over the next few days. Will the morning after pill make it late?

    You took a massive dose of hormones. It may mess with your cycle for a few months.

    Oh yes, read the leaflet, it will make it all messed up for awhile--heavier, as well

    seeing as how you dumped a massive amount of hormones into your body could explain why it's late
