Where's my package?

I purchased something from e-bay and very shortly after was given a tracking number. The USPS website says this:

Pre-Shipment

December 7, 2020 at 9:32 am

Shipping Label Created, USPS Awaiting Item

QUEENS VILLAGE, NY 11427 

Its said that same thing since the 7th. Does this mean the package was lost? Was it ever actually shipped? I get things are taking longer with covid but i feel it should have done something else in the last 20 days...

Update:

I know this probably isn't the right category for this but it was the auto select category yahoo answers did and I don't know where it would fit better, so yeah..

    No, it was never given to USPS.  Contact th seller.

    It means it was never shipped. The seller created a shipping label but then never gave the package to USPS.
