Which of these two people is better to hire?

Let’s say you are trying to hire someone to operate a special type of camera. Who would you hire?

Someone who is very experienced using the camera.

Someone who knows only the basics of the camera but you notice he really loves using the camera.

Update:

This is a hypothetical question. The camera could represent any sort of technology you need people to work on.

    I'd go for the one with experience.  Someone can really love cooking but his food is awful.
