YouTube purchased not playing?

About a year or so ago, I purchased an episode of a tv series I go to try and play that episode today on the YouTube App and it tells me I have to purchase episode. Meanwhile I go on YouTube on internet explorer and it tells me Purchased next to the episode. Any idea what the problem might be. Thanks for all answers.
