Anyone tried lidocaine infusions to reduce sensitization (for widespread pain syndrome/fibromyalgia) ?

Tried most medications: don't work or just add symptoms like dizziness or drowsiness.

Yes.  It was unsuccessful, although I understand that it works in some cases.

The lidocaine burns off quick and there is a chance of toxicity.

Try using a mix of honey and ginger tea when there is a flare up. This may taste disgusting but it works pretty well.
