Beef is available in parts of India where there is a significant Muslim or Christian population.  It's known as "big mutton" in Kolkata. 

Other parts of India, burgers are made from mutton or water buffalo.

If you are going to reject a job opportunity because of cheeseburgers then you have bigger problems than cheese. And yes, it's a gutter job anyway.
