No, hot water will bring more blood to the area.
There are meds for hemmerhoids, not baths.

No. Ordinary salt in a bath is what you are thinking of. Buy a bag of dishwasher salt as this is cheaper but it's still effective. Melt a couple of handfuls with hot water then top up with cold for a tepid bath. You only need a few inches of water.
