Nothing, the crows are communicating with each other, perhaps an alarm call because of a predator like a Hawk, Eagle or another crow. It could be feeding time, a nearby nest, not sure. don't read to much into this, just birds. It's not the Walking Man!

Crows go around in flocks, so they caw a lot to give each other the news.  They are really smart.

It means there are a lot of crows in your area.

Seriously, it means nothing,,, now when one lands on your shoulder, looks you in the eye and caws,,, then you might be on to something.

You live in a more rural area.

We get tons of crows every time they plant corn in the district.  The pests usually stay long into the winter until the scraps are too deep for them to get.  There are several families that will live at top of the corn crib,  they used to haunt the barn until we got a few dozen barn cats.  They like the free food, most all birds except the barn owls have left.  The cats are smart enough to leave them alone.

The crowd caw and make racket alerting all the others to your movement.  What. Does it mean?  The dumb birds are afraid of you, you might catch or try to kill them so they scream out their warnings.

When I ride out to the field on horseback they pretend I’m not there and usually continue pigging out.  When I get down off my horse the whole flick of some 209- 500 crows all take off screaming their warnings and launching themselves into the trees or the power lines or irrigator then 5hey stair at me.
