Will glam metal ever make a comeback?

I mean make an actual comeback, not on the oldie-but-goodies circuit that all the once popular bands are doing nowadays. It was actually pretty enjoyable music and I'd like to see it played again by a new generation of artists.

    It has a brief resurgence with steel panther, but no.

    It would be NICE if it did, but musicians today (in America) are pretty incompetent compared to those back in the day.  HOWEVER.....we still have European Metal, which is the finest in the world!
