Which high school should I choose?

Hello. I am a 13 yr old and my parents want me to go to a expensive private school which mainly focuses on academics (which is my main area of domain), but there is another public school very close to my home that has a very good volleyball team (8th overall in the state as of 2019). I have been playing volleyball for around 5 years on and  off (setter) and I am very interested in this school, however their academic results aren’t the best. The private school has a volleyball team but it looks like it is not a strong area, since they haven’t been in the leaderboards for 11 years. Any help please?
