If Trump had run up the Capitol steps waving the flag like Mel Gibson in The Patriot would we be talking impeachment today?

That is a nice mental picture. It would have been interesting, I'll tell you that....

Well, to begin with he would't do it because he's a coward.  And I'm rather certain he thought the military would back his coup attempt, which is why he put incompetent, unqualified civilians in leadership positions at the pentagon. Absent military backing, it would be difficult to pull off a coup. 

What would Congress do if George Washington was alive?  Eisenhower fought communism.  What would Eisenhower say about what is going on today?  Both of these men saw many, many good men die for Freedom.  Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion did not come easily or without blood being shed.

Lol that is the first genuine laugh I've had since last Wednesday. If he handles stairs anything like he handles a slightly inclined ramp it would take him a year to get up there.

I would pay to see his fatass walk run up stairs. And yes, if the Capitol was stormed with trump and 5 people died, you bet we'd be talking about impeachment again.

Oh please, we all know that's completely unrealistic. Trump is too fat to run, and he would never do the dirty work himself.
