Does a hill effect the wifi signals?

    As mentioned already, wifi signals require line-of-sight meaning your wifi antenna should literally see the cellsite's broadcasting tower, with nothing obstructing the view in between.

    If you have a hill in your house, between the computer and the wi-fi.

    Might.  High frequency wi-fi are basically line of sight.  It depends on the height of the hill and strength of the signal, and of course, distance.
