HELP! Please My Printer is printing without my permission??
yesterday! i was watching a movie on HULU and out of the blue my printer printed a paper that had a numbers that i have to use for 2 min only but i didnt print that! then Tonight i got like 4 pages printer again without my permission saying Verizon media! and I dont even use Verizon Internet or data! I think my Neighbors is Hacking my Printer! i live in apt building! how can I stop this!!!

1. Turn off your printer when not in use.
2. Change your router's passwords. There are two, one for accessing the router's settings and one for wifi access.

You likely have your printer connected to your wifi network, right?
The first thing I'd do is change your password on your wireless router. Make sure the Security is set up for some version of WPA, then change the SSD Password. Then update your printer with that password.
If someone is piggybacking on your wifi network and accessing the printer that way, this will shut them out.
If it still happens, then connect to your printer with a cable and turn the printer's wifi and bluetooth off.

Nobody is purposely hacking your printer somebody has an iPad or a cell phone. They have a printer similar to yours and they're sending information to their printer your printer is picking it up.
