Do you agree exact Google search "" is the most useful thing in history of Mankind?
And it shows the power of parallel computing
I did not mean literally most useful thing ever ofc, but for example i was learning about TRIAC dimmer and there was no explanation why it needs DIAC when it has gate of it's own, only through exact search i could find it is an asymmetrical and that's why. There were many situations like this. It is also useful for other things.

Actually, I find Youtube to be far more valuable.
I think Youtube has become the most valuable educational asset we have in the USA today.
You can find how to do anything on Youtube.
I had my OEM car stereo having a problem where the LED display was dimming and then finally blanked out, even though the stereo still worked. I searched on Youtube and found several videos identifying what the problem was and how to fix it. The fix was a partial disassembly and re-soldering of 4 resistors.
If it wasn't for Youtube, there is no way in hell I would have ever been able to diagnose that, let alone see how to make the fix. And there are millions of videos on how to do things on Youtube on hundreds of thousands of subjects.

I vote for the extremely ancient human control of fire.
This led to cooking which led to bigger brains which led to everything else.

There are 100s of 1000s of things more useful than Google in the history of mankind.
The most recent thing is the vaccines created to try to combat this evil virus. There are also 1000s of medical advances which has saved lives and virtually destroyed diseases like polio.
There are also many, many other technical advances that Google could never hold a candle to.

it IS useful, but it makes people lazy and reliant.
i prefer Wikipedia, as you actually learn more than just what you were looking for, and reading the whole page can actually make you pretty well versed on an entire topic.
plus, they have multiple sublinks to every topic MENTIONED in the article, so you can learn more about every RELATED topic!
meanwhile, on occasion, searching something in google will yield inaccurate results, because google didn't understand what you were searching for. just try googling oldest us president (that would be Biden, by the way). currently, it still says Trump, even though Biden is 8 years older than Trump was when he became prez.
