Is your junior year of high school too late to start a sport?

I originally did soccer from elementary school through 7th grade and stopped in 8th grade, and in 9th grade I was going to continue soccer but then injured myself. I'm now in 11th grade and I'm finally starting soccer this spring. I was hoping to continue soccer into college, but because I'm starting soccer in my junior year, is it too late to possibly continue it into college as well?

    Not necessarily if you're really good but it makes it harder.

    The standard in America is very high in the womens game. Providing you are willing to move country, you may be able to carve out a professional career.
