How much tax to pay?
Hi,
I earn about $500 gross income per fortnight from my part-time job, and receive about $450 per fortnight from centrelink. I have claimed the tax free threshold from my job, however I am worried I am receiving too much income and not paying enough (any) tax, and will therefore need to pay the ATO a bill at tax time. Do I stop claiming the tax free threshold from my part-time job, or do I have tax deducted from my centrelink (and if so, how much?)
