What is the infatuation with AOC?

She's the first Congressperson who's really been able to fully leverage social media to her publicity advantage. This means she's amassed many "followers". This means Yahoo and the other news and aggregate sites can predict "maximum reader engagement" when they post stories about her. Modern "news" isn't about information, it's about driving the clicks that make advertisers willing to give you money. 

She is actually a very intelligent and well educated young woman but I don't understand the extent of her publicity either. 

she's young, charismatic, charming, and pretty. and there arent too many like her in congress, usually old white men. 

Who or what is "aoc"? I haven't any idea what you are talking about.

I was kind of listening to what she had to say until she acted like she didn't know what a garbage disposal is.
