Broken knee... Hide with formal dress?

Look for a longer length dress -about mid calf of maxi length -with a loose A line or flowy skirt. Fit and a flare styles will look nice. They fit close up on top and flare below the hip. That will look cute and cover the brace. Or. Better idea: show off the brace. Rock the brace and make it part of your unique look. I can guarantee no one else will look like you and you'll be the center of attention. It's not ugly and it's not anything to be embarrassed about. They do news stories about girls who proudly wear their broken bone braces to prom. Pictures of girls in braces or other medical deviceso often go viral on social media. Ten years from now you'll have a picture that shows what was really going on in your life. 20 years from now you can show it to your kids and they will laugh at your hair more than the brace.  30 years from now you'll remember how much fun you had in spite of the knee. And the clothes and hair will be far more embarassing than a knee brace.
