Plastic surgery in Mexico. Yes or No? ?

Trying to find a board certified surgeon in Mexico. Any tips on finding a legit surgeon?

Has anyone gotten surgery there?

How was your experience? Where did you go?

Leon at least at one time was the nose job capital of the world. I was there when you'd see many people walking around with nose bandages on- most of the them from the US- because the surgery was so much cheaper in Mexico. They have an excellent medical system. Lot of people go there for dental work, too. I wouldn't think you'd have much trouble finding recommendations- just don't use the words "board certified"- that applies only in the US.

"Board Certified" means US medical board.

You will have troubles finding a US medical board certified professional in Mexico.

The Mexico "equivalent" is called Exámenes del Consejo

I have "equivalent" in quotes because I have no idea if a Mexican medical school and certification are similar to a US certification or not.
