I can’t afford counseling, but I really want it. I do not want pills or anything like that. I simply just need to grieve and talk to a counselor... Does anyone know of any programs? I know people who can’t afford medical treatments get medical/ Medicare etc...But what about people who can’t afford a councilor for their mental health?

I know I shouldn’t care about what happened before I met him, or how him and his ex broke up. But what the ****?! That’s so nasty! I feel like I can’t look at him the same knowing he would go on backpage and pick girls out to meet at hotels or whatever and actually have sex with them while his girlfriend and child are at home. Apparently his ex use to cheat on him (so he says). But still that’s no excuse. I’m just in shock and feel really gross. I’ve been with him for two years and I’m just now finding this out. Makes me think he will do the same to me.

So I can’t decide where to go from here...I was emt for a few years and now I want to switch up my career.

I have always loved animals and dreamed of being a wildlife biologist in order to carry out my dream of working with all sorts of different animals and helping all animals in need. But honestly 4 years of school would be a little to long for me. Plus I’m horrible at math and that’s a major part of wildlife bio..so I’ve come to the conclusion.. either I want to get in to vet tech program or sonography program. And I know sonography is random and doesn’t involve animals (unless you specialize in that). But I can’t decide if I should do what I love (try to work with animals) or try sonography something Ive been interested in for a while. The difference for me is the salary. Yes, I love working with animals but vet tech doesn’t pay as nearly as much as sonography.

Looking to volunteer in June for 2-3 weeks for turtle hatching and release. Wanted to go to Guatemala but not sure if turtles will be hatching there in June. Would like to volunteer at a place that provides sleeping arrengments.

I have done previous animal conservation work in Thailand. Any suggestions welcome. Open to travel and helping all animals.
