When I didn't plan well enough and the shots were not as I saw them, or eyes were closed on the image because I didn't take enough exposures. Everyone makes mistakes in discretion, planning, exposure, composition and lighting. Practice, organization, and experience minimize these problems. If I'm not making mistakes, I'm not pushing the envelope or challenging my ability. Like others have mentioned, sometimes the limits of the medium wont allow my vision and I have to find new ways of expressing it. Photography is such a wonderful thing.

    a) Yes

    b) Because pictures often fail to capture scale or mood and they certainly don't capture sound or smell.

    c) English lesson: It should be "Have you ever TAKEN photos...?" FAIL.

    d) Why did you post this in philosophy? Wrong forum. FAIL. Question moved to Photography
