I would love to know what my chances are to land a job on Wall Street.?

I'm currently studying Business Management at The Open University while also working part-time as a Financial Consultant in company based in Germany, I am also reading books as much as I can about Investments, free market Economy and Business (e.g. The Intelligent Investor, Security Analysis, Warren Buffett Accounting Book, Bob Vause Economist Guide to Analyzing Companies, The Interpretation of Financial Statements, Basic Economics by Thomas Sowell etc.). Not only that, but I am also trying to learn the programming language Python when I have free time which is hard to find, because sales skills are important on Wall Street I bought the course (Straight Line Persuasion) and the book (Way of the Wolf) of Jordan Belfort which improved my sales by a lot. Once I get my degree I will get the Microdegree from Financial Edge which is a Wall Street recognized degree and is used by top 4 Investment banks. I am not sure how important that is, but I also know three languages English, German and Bulgarian. I know that my degree from The Open University won't be the same as a degree from Harvard, but I work very hard in order to get as many skills as possible to have as  and sometimes sleep less than 3-4 hours a day. I hope that's enough information about me :)

Are you a US citizen or legal permanent resident? If not, you cannot get an employment visa or the necessary SEC licenses. Competition for Wall Street jobs is ferocious, and your contacts & connections to wealthy investors is a primary job requirement - you have to bring in new business. Even for Americans, getting a job on Wall Street is very tough.

Not good. Wall Street has their choice of MBAs with high GPAs from NAME schools each and every year. You could have a 4.0 at your crap school and probably still not get a job.

When I was young I wanted to be a broker but I quickly realized they don't want kids who are interested in finance, they want SALESMAN who can bring money to the firm.

Sorry to rain on your parade.

Skills are irrelevant. What the degree from Harvard gets you is the connections that you need to get the job on Wall Street.
