Do i qualify for unemployment?

So i cant find anything online to answer this for me so i thought id try here.. someone at my job got covid and my employers excluded the person who has it and everyone who worked with them for 10 days and contacted everyone else to let us know whats up. employer is okay with those of us who didn't have to be excluded not coming in anyways if we aren't comfortable. Im nervous about the idea of going back but i had to use all 3 days i had of sick time to cover it, im due to go back tomorrow after missing 8 days of work but my boss called to tell me someone else tested positive. i cant afford to miss any more work but im scared for my health, does unemployment cover this kind of thing if i am technically opting out of work myself? also idk if it varies by state but i work in michigan

Update:

id only be out of work for another week max

Update 2:

also unfortunately, i dont have the ability to social distance at my job, everyone is generally working 1-2 feet from each other most people are generally wearing their mask under their nose, and / or pulling it down to speak

Pandemic unemployment will cover this, not regular unemployment.

However, covid is a "I take care of me illness so I don't need to worry about you".

    Get a good quality mask.

    - FDA approved KN95 masks filter 95% of viral particles and are actually more comfortable than most cotton masks.  They can be worn about 20 times each.  A bag of 20 costs about $40 on Amazon.  Make sure you get an FDA approved model and compare it to the FDA list of approved PPE before buying.

    - If you maintain 3 feet of distance, you have reduced your risk of getting covid by 82%.

    - Multiple studies show that people who have sufficient levels of vitamin D are much less likely to get covid than people who are deficient.  Vitamin D can be difficult to absorb.  It's not just eating cereal or getting a few minutes of sun.

70% of covid transmission occurs within the home.

No unemployment definitely does not cover not wanting to come in.   There is some protection to prevent them from firing you, but you don't get paid if you don't actually have covid and honestly you don't want to go down that road.   Just buy some N95 or KN95 masks and wash\sanitize your hands a lot.   People who actually work with covid patients are protected by these types of masks.  Don't live your life in fear, just protect yourself and use common sense.
