Why is school so stressful?

I’m a senior and I have six classes this semester and I don’t know how to deal with it.

Students with busy schedules can quickly become overwhelmed because they are left with no free time to relax. As your child progresses from elementary school to high school, the amount and difficulty level of schoolwork increases—and students without good time management skills can experience even more

Really?  I had six classes daily and I didn't think it was that bad.  Is it your day schedule that's stressing you out or is it trying to get the homework done during your own time that's doing it?

School is preparation for life in the adult world, Ashley. If you can't handle your course work now, you're going to have a hard time next year when you're in COLLEGE and then later in the work place. It's time to GROW UP and learn some time management and organizational skills. Being successful in school requires PLANNING and a willingness to prioritize one's work and set goals.

You can not handle the work from six classes?

Research time management skills, organization and study skills.

    Make school your priority.

Plan out your week and each day. What needs to be done and when you are going to do it.

Schedule in physical activities.  Exercise is the best way to combat stress. Schedule in rest and relaxation time. You do need that, but don’t find yourself playing video games for hours.
