Are people who turn their noses up at second hand clothes, slaves to fashion or just plain stupid?

Sometimes people donate clothes that are either brand new or hardly worn because they bought them on a whim and have changed their mind about how they look in  them, or they dont like the colour anymore.

I've even read about celebrities who have shopped for "retro" clothes in second hand shops.

    Well yes, they must be.

What on Earth is wrong with buying something nice that you like the look of, just because it comes from a charity shop?

A lot of the stuff in these shops is first class, they don’t put rubbish on display.

People buy second hand cars don’t they?

Or move into a house that has had previous owners?

    It’s the same principle.

It’s stupid to pass by these shops.
