will medical insurance cover an in home ventilator?
i am currently on medicaid due to my medical issues. at night while asleep i use a trilogy100 in home vent that i will have to have for the rest of my life. But, i would love to know if regular/private medical insurance ill cover my in home vent as i really want to go to school and work. while on medicaid i can not work or receive any from of "livable" income, but i dont want to live in perpetual poverty anymore, i want to earn my living. how can i do that AND keep my ventilator and ventilator supplies?

Aside from your ideas, there are two other options:
You move to a state that lets medicaid recipients work and contribute a share of their income towards medical expenses but keep having medicaid pay for what they can't afford.
Or you get a job that pays enough so that you can afford to pay for the ventilator, etc., yourself, with the money from the job.

Yes, it's considered durable medical supplies and covered by insurnace
For both the machine and supplies.
Best wishes!
