I puked from taking zinc.  Why is this?  I took it with food also.  ?

    This is not really a question about Chemistry.  It should be moved to Medicine.

    And did you really take zinc metal?  I suspect you took something more like zinc gluconate (or some other word ending in -ate).  It would be useful to know exactly what you took.

    How much zinc?  Even though it's an essential trace element, too much is poisonous.
