No. Genealogy finds people that are adopted as well as people that are born to the family.
Now, if you were asking about one of these new genetic tests, I don't know.

No. Adoption isn't "less than," it's just "different than." As long as the love is there, then they're just two different ways to create a family.

Genealogy and genetics are different things. How adoption is treated in genealogy depends on your intentions.

No, of course not. Who you are is formed by your inherited genes and you're upbringing- experts say about half and half. Many adopted people want to know more about their biological roots, and the DNA test from places like 23andme can give a lot of information about genetic tendencies toward things like diabetes and other illnesses. You already know how your adoptive parents raised you and helped to form the person you are.
