You indicate you are already on Adderall, a stimulant. It is considered addictive.

Oxycodone, as well as other narcotics, are good SHORT TERM solutions to short term pain issues.

Not a good choice for chronic conditions, like endometriosis.

i join Diane A. in being cautious around Opioid pain killers.. opioids like Oxycodone, Tramadol, Fentanyl are known gateway drugs; and people can easily fall pray to drug abuse with fentanyl, heroin and morphine (also opioids) if and when doctors stop supplying patients with pain killers.. you should try to avoid them as the plague and doctors should not be tempted to prescribe opioid pain killers as the first choice..

your best option are NSAIDs pain killers, NSAIDs pain killers are not addictive but they do carry the risk of abdominal discomfort.. just be honest about your pain level and he/she should prescribe the best NSAIDs for you.. and depending on the exact type of endometriosis, you may NOT need pain killers at all, and you may be given muscle-relaxants and anti-spasmodic (anti-spasm) medications that would be much more effective than pain killers.. also probably hormone therapy to control the painful contractions from endometriosis..

another option is surgery.. endometriosis is actually a wide range of issues, some require surgery and some require long-term medications alone.. just be honest and truthful to your doctor(s).. my experience is that female patients often be too shy or too conservative about describing their pain to doctors, and doctors often fail to recognize the level of pain in female patients because of this shyness, failing to come forward in describing their pain, or because of the wrong choice of the words.. BE generous in describing your pain to doctors!!.. and do not hesitate to take the surgical option if the doctor(s) recommend it to you.. and.. and all the best..

You can ask but there may be better things as you would have to take them over and over and that’s addicting
