What wall color goes with beige furniture?

My bedroom has beige furniture and I wanted to know what wall color would compliment it well. Nothing dark, bright or blue, please! I want something muted and soft.

Beige is neutral, so pretty much anything. More neutrals on either side of the paint chip spectrum... go to a paint store and experiment with the chip panels.  Soft pink is one choice and in right now

The best way to decorate a bedroom is to first get some insperation from either your bedding (sheets, comforter), wall artwork, an area rug, curtains or an upholstered chair.

Once you pick an item that inspires you, then it is easy to pick a wall paint color. It's much harder to match things to a randomly chosen wall color, and then go crazy trying to match things to that random color wall.

So, go shopping and find yourself some inspiration.

Make your beige sofa stand out by placing it in front of a dark-colored wall. Warm living room colors can include a rich chocolate brown, burnt orange or a deep gold. For a cooler palette, try navy blue or emerald green. A dark charcoal gray would look lovely behind a beige sofa.

A warm, pale lilac-grey would contrast well.

A very soft green. Maybe toward light sage.
