What happens if you drink a bottle of soda at a store without paying for it?

I drink sodas while I’m shopping, but always pay as I leave.  If someone doesn’t pay? It’s shoplifting, a misdemeanor charge and handcuffs.

Me personally " you "  me owning the store NO consequence

Not  owning the store and Observed doing so  by the attendant

  and possibly VIDEO taped

  the possibility  of being charged with theft 

  i do not drink SODA ... so  the presented scenario would not occur

They expect that from some people just like they expect some people to act crazy and start dancing, singing, talking to themselves and giving attitude but if you are White, Indian, Asian, Hispanic, you might get in trouble for unusual behavior.

It's punishable by being stoned to death in the town square.

You get caught on CCTV and a court summons.

That would be called 'shoplifting', and the necessary legalities would fall into place for your actions.

It is shoplifting and you are subject to arrest
