It was doing fine until Rump Ranger Rick Perry & Gov Abbott labs screwed it up.

Do not blame green energy. Texas had enough non-renewable energy to meet demand. The problem was all energy sources were not winterized.

Wind power can work in the artic and solar can work in the coldness of space and the dusty terrain of Mars.

When speaking to Texans it was the Gas line electrical valves freezing up and the Gas generators going down. Same with all the other stuff.

When speaking on FOX suddenly it was AOC and the Windmills and The Green Revolution that was the boogieman.  How odd...

That other 25 percent used to be fossil fuels.  They shut down "dirty" coal plants and replaced them.

The green energy that was put in wasn't purely additive.

Even the 75% isn't immune to the effects of the green cult.  Many gas plants, for instance, replaced their gas-powered fuel pumps with electric ones, because that's "more efficient."  The trouble is that if there is a huge load on the system, you can end up in the absurd situation where you can't turn on the power plant because the power is off. That is exactly what happened last week.

Also, please note that natural gas does not freeze at other than cryogenic temperatures. Please ignore the idiots rambling on about gas-lines "freezing."

It was more a case of gas and water pipes freezing that were needed for fuel and cooling.

Texas went to managing their own power grid to avoid having to abide by federal guidelines and regulations.

    And we see the results
