Why is Lois griffins voice so different back in 1999?

So I noticed that from the very first family guy episode Lois griffins voice is so different then the one that was heard in the year of 2021??

    I mean, 2 decades is a long time.  People's voices DO change over time.  It's slow and subtle, but it happens.  Especially if someone is deliberately doing an accent or caricature of their own voice.  Alex Borstein is the woman who voices Lois the whole time.  It's probably just natural drift over time.
