For the price I would get GERMAN or SWEDISH or ASAIN cars! The ODLER ones did not take into consideration COLD TEMOPERATURES since italy is almost ALWAYS HOT! They used CAST IRON drive shaft U joints that would simply CRACK IN HALF in severely cold weather! The NEW ones are STILL mostly EURIOPEAN and OKAY but TOO PRIVEY for how they RUN and how SAFE they are or even how ENJOYABLE they are! i LOVED my used GTI VWs and my two used AUDI CARS and my two used BENZ CARS! One even had RECARO seats. I have read some BAD REVIEWS on many newer FIAT MODELS and after test driving a few of them, i would ALWAYS refer to used AUDI CARS with QUATTRO and TURBO CHARGING and BOSE stereos! They are FAST reliable and simple a GREAT GREAT RIDE! FIAT makes engines for JEEP and CHRYLSER as well. I jsut do NOT feel taht COMFy in them and they LACK some luxury features! Try a BMW MINI on for size! COOPER! .

Ive felt that are either absolute carp or hi tech supercars. No middle ground.
Even Alfas got bad rep. Fiat has tried twice to enter US market. I test drove a 2019 124, it was as fast as a Miata. Electric roof, too, two sexy "bumps" in the hood. Jay Leno said Fiats had small oil galilees, they Have to be fully warmed up.
Ferraris, Lambos, Maseratis, DeTomasos are all breathtaking, but, not a daily ride, not for me.

Fiats have always had a reputation for poor quality but they always sell quite well in the U.K. Alfa and Lancia had even worse quality problems but made cars you wanted, so people over looked that.
Of course Ferrari , Lamborghini and Maserati are very desirable and nowadays they are also reliable though still very expensive to own and run.
The Lamborghini Urus is top of my lottery win list.

I used to work on FIAT's. The 124 Spyder and Coupe were fun to drive. I owned an X-19 which was also fun to drive put unfortunately it was under powered.
